For a school assignment we had to design an alternative movieposter for one of the Stanley Kubrick films. I began this project by submerging myself in Kubrick’s world and watching the movie Dr. Strangelove.

I used torn up and cut out pieces of printed images to design the eye catcher of the poster. The chaos and the war that arise from the cigar represent the insanity of one person that causes a nuclear disaster in the movie.
