Experiment, experiment, experiment

To participate in a poster contest, we were asked to create an experimental poster with the keyword 'gravity'.

When I hear the term 'gravity', I automatically think about space-time and the way different masses warp space.

I tried various kinds of experiments to visualize my perception of ‘gravity’. During this project I used water, oil, soap, paint, glue, ink, soy sauce, … In short, I experimented with everything I thought could give me a distorted image.

Whilst experimenting with paint and oil, I discovered a way to distort an image and visualize different kinds of elements within the universe. I found this phenomenon very fascinating, so I decided to use its colourful and chaotic visuals in combination with a clean grid layout.
